Happy Thanksgiving 2017 from Adirondack Lifestyle!

“Gratitude is the sign of noble souls.”

JSR skiing 11-23-17

There is nothing like a Thanksgiving nordic ski excursion to stoke one’s appetite for the traditional feast.

Snow and cold weather are among the many things for which winter sports enthusiasts who live in the Adirondack Mountains give thanks this year. Ski conditions at Whiteface Mountain are reportedly good and Mt. Van Hoevenberg is slated to officially open tomorrow. An attitude of gratitude reminds us it could be warm and raining, so Carpe Adirondack Diem and ski, ski, ski!

May we also remember John F. Kennedy, who died on this day in 1963.
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”
