Adirondack Fall Foliage Report 09-25-2013

Adirondack Fall Foliage 9-25-13

The mist rising off the lake this morning confirms what the leaves tell us: winter is coming.

The colorful fall foliage and recent beautiful weather in the Adirondacks continue to stun. Today’s eye candy photographic treat shows about 50% change in the leaves. Today’s clear blue sky and sunny warm temperature are predicted to continue through the coming weekend.  With nighttime lows in the upper 30s and daytime highs in upper 60s, the trails are dry and bugs nonexistent. One could hardly ask for better conditions to get outside and enjoy Lake Placid and the surrounding Adirondack paradise.
