Adirondack Fall Foliage 09.19.2012

Adirondack Lifestyle Fall Foliage 09-19-12

As you might be able to tell from today’s fall foliage progress photo, we were rewarded with a lovely bright and crisp fall day after yesterday’s windy rain storm cleared the air of summer.  The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning; temperatures may dip into the 20s tonight!! It is time to pull out the exclamation points  - snow and ski season is not far away!

In the meantime however, Mother Nature is doing a great job keeping things interesting as she changes the Adirondack Mountains into glowing mounds of infinite shades of gold, red, orange, green, and brown.
