It was 37 degrees this morning here at Adirondack Lifestyle HQ in Lake Placid. Mist was floating off the lake in the front yard and the leaves are well on their way to dishing the famous Adirondack fall foliage mix of stunning colors we’re all anxiously awaiting. Well, ok, the Adirondack fall foliage I’m anxiously awaiting.
It is also clear to see fall foliage season has arrived in the Adirondacks because hordes of leaf peepers have already descended on the region, driving the requisite 15-mph on the newly repaired roads, swerving wildly as they gaze out their car windows at the scenery. Ah yes, Hurricane Irene be damned, we are back to normal in the Adirondacks!
