Adirondack April’s Fool

The temperature hit 70 degrees today here in Lake Placid, New York. How did this April Fool celebrate the first really warm day of spring in the Adirondacks? Why by skiing, of course!
The trails at Mount Van Hoevenberg had plenty of snow and bright sunshine to make this fool smile.
As for the rule indicated by the sign - there is only one way to ski - happily!

Both photographs were taken today, April 1, 2010, and are proof there’s plenty of snow in the woods!
