Hurry! The Gober-mint Wants to Help You Buy Your Adirondack Home

It sounds like everyone wants to help you buy your first Adirondack home. I know I’ve been hawking the idea here for a couple of years, and for the past year, the Federal Government has offered first time home buyers an $8,000 tax credit if they close on their first home by November 30, 2009. I bring this to your attention because the deadline that marks the end of this tax savings is quickly approaching. Because “quickly” is a relative term and means something completely different in the real estate industry in New York State, you should be pretty close to having an executed contract right now if you hope to close on (buy) your home before the deadline. And of course, I can help you find the perfect place on which to spend that tax credit decorating with bark and twigs.
Today’s featured home photo is our Woodland Gnome’s place at the 3 Acre Woods. See - the gnome family who live there did not receive help and they have to live in a tree.

Very cute! And good information. Getting loan approval takes a fairly long time nowadays.
