Adirondacks on National Television!

In the event I haven’t provided the best and most thorough description of the Adirondacks and the Adirondack Lifestyle, you can catch a two-hour documentary on the topic, this Wednesday on PBS. Footage for “The Adirondacks” was filmed over the course of several months and features rugged mountaintops, winding rivers, ice-covered lakes and misty forest trails. The producers said they looked to Adirondack people for meaning as well as offering the wilderness points of view. Well, I guess we’ll see if they gleaned any meaning from us, but at least we know there will be eye candy! They had this to say about their time here in the Adirondack North Country, “It’s real, it’s genuine, it’s so unlike the rest of America — you know, strip-mall America.”
I couldn’t have said it better myself! Don’t miss it - this Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. on PBS.
